New specialty tracks in advanced orthopedics, pelvic health, and vestibular and concussion build on the organization’s established program
Braintree, MA – Cypress Health Partners, a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy and musculoskeletal care across the Northeast, recently announced the launch of its Advanced Clinical Pathways, expanding its continuing education program and providing physical therapists with new opportunities to develop specialized clinical expertise throughout their careers.
Participating clinicians can pursue one of three Advanced Clinical Pathways:
- Advanced Orthopedics, with focused education in areas including spine, overhead athletes, gait, running, and connective tissue
- Pelvic Health, including coursework in pelvic rehabilitation and spine
- Vestibular & Concussion, including education in BPPV, vestibular hypofunction, and vestibular rehabilitation
“We’re dedicated to supporting our team in their pursuit of clinical mastery and are firmly committed to ensuring patients have the best possible care to help reduce pain and get them back to doing the things that they love,” said Brady Hill, CEO of Cypress Health Partners. “Our goal is to give physical therapists the opportunity to build a strong clinical foundation, discover areas they’re passionate about, and continue developing their expertise throughout their careers. The Advanced Clinical Pathways are a natural extension of that approach.”
Building on a Strong Clinical Foundation
The Advanced Clinical Pathways expand on the Orthopedic Specialty Series (OSS), a six-module continuing education program that combines didactic education with hands-on laboratory learning. The curriculum covers upper extremity, lower extremity, cervical spine, lumbar spine, and elective coursework in thoracic spine and advanced gait. The OSS also provides a foundation for physical therapists interested in pursuing an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) designation.
The program combines virtual, self-paced coursework with interactive laboratory experiences and ongoing clinical support, including individualized mentorship, Special Interest Groups, Journal Clubs, and condition-specific clinical guidance. Participating clinicians have provided strong feedback on the program. Across 1,147 course surveys, 94.3% of respondents rated their experience a 4 or 5 out of 5, with zero negative ratings reported.
